TSB mortgage rates: record low 10 year fix released

TSB has launched a new 10 year fixed rate mortgage, with rates starting from a record low 3.04%. The lender has chosen to offer ten year fixed rate mortgages following increasing demand from customers looking to lock into the current historically low rates. TSB has released its latest mortgage rates which are available to customers across the market – ranging from homeowners and first time buyers to those looking to remortgage – all with a loan to value (LTV) of 75%.

TSB mortgage rates now start from 3.09% with an LTV of 0-60% and a £995 fee, or 3.14% with no fee for home movers and first time buyers. Loans with a LTV of 60-75% will come with a rate of 3.19% with a fee of £995 or 3.29% with no fee.

New rates for remortgages, on the other hand, with a LTV of 0-60% will start from 3.09% with a fee of £995 or 3.19% with no fee. Mortgage rates starting at 3.24% will no come with a fee of £995 or 3.34% with no fee for a LTV of 60-70%.

TSB’s new 10 year fixed mortgage have proved to be the offer of the moment across the market, not only for offering stability and security for homeowners – but doing so with a fantastic rate to go with it. Customers looking for more flexibility and a shorter term will definitely feel more room in their wallet following the lender’s reductions to its range of 2, 3 and 5 year mortgages.

Not only this, TSB has also cut some of its other mortgage rates, with its 5 year mortgage range witnessing reductions of up to 0.25% for first time buyers and homeowners with a LTV of 60-75%, and reductions of 0.05% to 0.15% for remortgage deals.

Homeowners looking for 2 year fixed and tracker mortgages with a LTV of 60-75% will also see a rate decrease of up to 0.15%, while those with a LTV of up to 80% can expect to see a 0.2% reduction on products.
